EMDR

As an EMDR therapist I provide trauma-focused therapy to individuals ready to process and resolve difficult memories from the past, in order to help them move on, cope with the present and have the future they deserve. Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy can be a very effective way to do this. Typically, the number of sessions required for EMDR range between 8 - 12 sessions. Depending on complexity, more sessions may be required, in order to ensure that treatment is completed. EMDR / psychological therapy sessions are £130 per 60-minute session. Please contact me for a free 15-minute call for further information about how EMDR might be able to help you.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) or “Tapping”

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) or “Tapping” is a brief self-applied body / mind technique using elements of cognitive therapy, with physical stimulation of acupuncture points. Research, including randomised clinical trials and meta analyses has established effectiveness for a wide range of issues, including phobias, post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, pain and more. EFT sessions are £130 per 60-minute session. Please contact me for a free 15-minute call for further information about how EFT might be able to help you.

Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP)

The Safe and Sound Protocol TM (SSP) is an evidence-based powerful and innovative listening therapy designed to reduce hearing sensitivity and help regulate the autonomic nervous system. It is therapist-led and can be used in conjunction with other therapies.  As a practical application of Polyvagal Theory, the SSP acts as a non-invasive, acoustic vagal nerve stimulator, helping to retune the nervous system to better support connection, collaboration and resilience. Some people's nervous systems have a harder time interpreting safety on their own. The SSP helps to restore this ability by sending "cues of safety" directly to the nervous system, so you can feel more calm, engaged and balanced.  This process helps build the foundation for awareness, embodiment and resilience. The SSP's effectiveness has been proven in a wide range of clinical studies.  The SSP involves listening to specially filtered music through headphones alongside a provider in person or remotely. You can find more information on SSP here.  Please contact me for a free 15-minute call for further information about how SSP might be able to help you.

Rest and Restore Protocol (RRP)

The Rest and Restore Protocol TM (RRP) is a new innovative, clinical-grade listening therapy developed to support healing, restoration and balance as part of nervous system regulation.  It is designed to help calm and restore mental and physical functioning. RRP is informed by decades of research studying physiological rhythms in the body, including heart rate, respiration, blood pressure, and in the gut, alongside deep knowledge of advanced sound technology to support deep relaxation and optimal recovery for clients. Please contact me for a free 15-minute call for further information about how RRP might be able to help you.

ADHD Assessment

Having completed ADHD assessment training a number of years ago, I understand the impact that unrecognised neurodivergence can have on an individual’s day-to-day functioning, relationships, career and psychological wellbeing. I offer psychologically informed ADHD diagnostic assessments in line with the Adult ADHD Assessment Quality Assurance Standard and NICE guidelines. Please contact me for further information.
